Was that a real A12 Superbee? If so, that's a steal. I'd kill for that AAR replica too. Pretty cheap.

The super bee was a 383 4speed with ramcharger hood, was very nice. And the AAR clone was extra nice with all the right parts on it. If you didn't read the VIN # you couldn't tell it was a clone.:Thumb:

I'm surprised a Scamp brought almost as much as the 69 Barracuda.

We were surprised as you, not nearly as popular but the guy with the collection of cars had very nice well kept and detailed cars. We couldn't figure that one out either!

I'm pretty sure that's a 383 superbee. The A12 wouldn't have hood hinges or the ramcharger hood.

Yea, no way you could build that AAR for anywhere near what it sold for. Sorry about the Superbird, I never saw it with the hood up or off, maybe Stein did. I just know a lot of stuff wasn't selling anywhere near what it did 2 years ago and the weather was great this year unlike the 6-10 inches of snow on the ground in 06 when I went. No real surprise though but in additon there were very nice non mopars that brought some pretty good prices too, guess it was just a case of that is what those people were looking for. Good time had by all either way. No lottery winnings here either!
