Just wondering what you guys think might have gone wrong. Had the car to where it would move and shift gears while on a jack. Took the car on a trailer to get the front end alinned and when I went to take the car off the trailer the trans just up and quit working. So I thought it might be the after market converter that I put in it. Then I took it out and put the stock one back in it and sill nothing. Doesn,t act like its catching at all, nothing even if you rev up the engine. What gives,,pump maybe?

There is nothing. Does not act like anything is trying to hook up. Have allways used B/M trick shift since I had it overhauled in the mid 80s. Sill thinking the pump went bye-bye.

Wierd. If anything I would say that reverse or manual low would be the best bet to get movement out of it since the line pressure would be highest then. As long as the fluid level is ok it does sound like the pump might have gone bad. Or an off the wall idea is that the manual valve/selector broke, disengaging the parking pawl when you move the shifter but not moving the valve to actually put it in gear.

Good thing it stayed straight, I just noticed that telephone pole is in a bad spot, you probably could have creamed the trash can without too much damage but that pole would be painful in the repair dept! ;)
