I spend today removing spot welds on the inner fender on the Satellite parts car and removing the inner fender from the GTX. Also finished grinding and patching one bad spot on the rear floor pass side. Used the metal ready prep on the floor pans and now ready to put on POR 15 tomorrow. More pics to follow.

Looks like you did a damn good job of getting the inner fender panel off the satellite. Will make putting it on a snap.:Thumb:

Thanks for the compliments guys, I feel like a body man now, just takin my time tryin to do it right. Now, how do you get that spot weld look when you put the other inner fender back on? I don't think that is going to work out unless someone has some special tricks like sending the car back to the factory. :Thumb:

Man, do you make that look easy!

It appears easier than it was. I bought a spot weld bit and it lasted about 1/2 way, then I moved on to several drill bits and a punch, hammer and chisel. It came out nice all things considering. The one on the GTX was rusty anyay so I destroyed it on the way out. Why would anyone put a rusty one in and then do such a crap job blobbing it in. Oh yeah, in an effort to find a sucker and sell it, what was I thinking. Next stop is the frame machine, oh yeah, no one said it was wrecked either and I was just blind knowing I wanted the car and overlooked a lot, got some surprises later but it will hopefully be worth it in the end. :ohlord:
