Good luck!
Things I remember from my time there a few years ago:
Just make it through the 1st quarter, there is a lot of nitpicky stuff that weeds out most of the posers. My class was cut by half because of how tough 1st quarter was. Not sure how things are since Doc & Bob aren't teaching there anymore though.
Bruha is a blast!
Make sure the transmission is FULLY bolted down when using the tranny dyno. Big whoops!
Boring and honing blocks IS different than horing and boning blocks.
The engine management systems/EFI instructor is a pretty cool cat.

Just remember that it is NOT the flow of electrons, it is the MAGIC SMOKE inside that makes things work. If you let the magic smoke out, you're done.
Glad it is going well. I will look you up.

Is this for a career change or just for fun? Either way, good luck!

How did the Electrical class go? I teach Automotive Electrical and I find that either you get it or you don't! :thsleep_4:
Good luck with the rest of the courses.:Thumb:
I am an Alumnist from both the Auto Tech and Auto Body courses (early 80s).

Congrats Dave, Sorry I couldn't make it up to the Shop today. We went over and talked to Stein tonight who was lit up like a Christmas tree. He should be, that power at the crank is only about 30hp less than my ole 440 made. I was at 477 at 5100 rpm and 530 ft. lbs of torque at 4100 rpm. 440 Source is starting to look very inviting, maybe finding a 440 block to play with again like last time and save the number match 440. HHHHHMMMMMM! :)
