Hey, I wanted to introduce myself. (HI)
CrazyPete suggested that I join after talking on another site. As soon as I have time to shrink the pics of the car (1984 Dodge Daytona Pro Street), I'll get them in my album. Here are a couple...

Thanks for the Welcome! As for the car, it is now just a street pounder. I think when the new motor is done then I will have to go to the track (528ci, twin 89mm turbo)!

WOW, that car speaks volumes without even hearing or seeing it in person, well done! I don't think you will have any trouble feeling worthy, mine is still on jack stands! :bow1::bow1:

Hello, I heard all about your car from a fellow firefighter. I cant wait to see it in person. What are your specs on the motor? Thanks and welcome!!!

First, welcome to the board...:Thumb:
The motor is a 512 stroker from 440 Source with a Purple shaft 509 lift cam, Max ported 906 cast heads, Edelbrock Torker II intake and 800cfm carb. The final compression is almost 11.5:1 with .39 head gaskets. The cam I'm not real happy with but it was one I had laying around and I wanted to keep the car street friendly. This combo I expect to have about a 2yr life span as I am beginning a new motor project to replace this one.
