[69 GTX]

I am trying to find a ignition cylinder with key set up for a 1969 Dart. I don't need the door cylinders, just the ignition. If anyone knows where I can get this part please reply or pm!

Have you tried the parts stores? I would imagine they would be able toget one in for you since I doubt the Dart used some wierdo specific cylinder. That's my first idea.

on B-bodies, 69 is a one year only, I guess. 70 they went to the column. Do you know if B & A bodies are the same?

Well, I am finding out that 69 was a one year only and don't know what is compatible. I have also checked at O'Reilly/Autozone and other locals, show part but can't get it. Year One has everything but 69 as well as several other places. I got one here at a place called Beatrice Iron & Metal but it was way too short, wrong one. No idea how many they made for different cars. Surely some one can get this part! Salvage yard here may have one but then I will more than likely still need a key. Hopefully someone out there has gotten one in the past and knows where to find them.

That's wierd. I'll keep an eye out and do some googling this afternoon when we're slow.

Got er fixed up today, thanks to an ex locksmith, put all new stuff in and cut a key, works like a charm. Thanks for the tips though!
