Sent my eddy heads to Porter Racing in VT to have some work done. Total to ship, $94 UPS ground. Holy cow!!! And then I have to pay to get them shipped back. I need a new cheap hobby.

Isn't oil speculation and unrest in the middle east wonderful? :ohlord:

NO.

Shipping is still cheaper than driving them there your self. :dunno: Arn't there any local porters around here?

If you can use a commercial account the pricing 'generally' about 1/2 of retail charges at a UPS Store.

Finally got around to cleaning it up and painting it in October, pulled the old motor in Nov & dropped the new one in, then it sat until a couple of weeks ago. Fired it up to make sure the plumbing didn't leak and then took it to a muffler shop this past week to get 3" pipes bent and they're putting in the front-end rebuild kit I bought a year ago. Should be able to pick it up Tuesday.

Did you sell the Bee?

Sounds like your ready to go for spring. Should be all kinds of fun :Thumb:
No I still have it. Hasn't seen the track in 2 years but maybe a few times this year. I really want to get back to it but I have to get the motor done for the challenger this year. Later
