July 17: Cruise Night begins at the Midway Chevrolet dealership parking lot, thursday evening, from 5 - 8 pm. No awards, no registration fee, just a night for car lovers to gather and show off their pride and joy.
July 18: Cruise Night continues at the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument parking lot, from 5 - 7:30 pm. Again, no fee, and no awards. I will be there to help park cars.
At 7:30 pm, the Classic & Collectible Car Auction takes place at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.
July 19: Cruise Nights main event. Show and Shine downtown, on Central Ave. Registration is 8 am - 12 pm. $10 registration fee. Show goes from 12 pm - 4 pm. Again, I will be there helping to park cars.
The Cruise starts around 5 pm, and takes place on Central Ave, then moves to 25th St. I won't be driving in the Cruise this year (for the first time in 3 years), as my new apartment is right on 25th, and I'll be partying on my front lawn.:woot:
There will also be a swap meet at Reeds Performance (Reed is a big Mopar guy, for those of you who don't know him), from 8 am - 2 pm.
There is a dance at the Kearney Drive-In, starting at 8:30 pm, as well.
July 20: Races at the Kearney Raceway Park! Time trials from 8 am - 12:30 pm. Eliminations start at 1 pm.
I look forward to seeing you guys there!

I'll be there Friday night, but probably not in the cuda, maybe I will pimp out the stratus. Probably will be riding shotgun in the Blue State Trooper car taking pics of the ass-end of your cars with red and blue lights shining off of the bumper!! :)

I'll be heading down early Sat for the Car Show....I'm still undecided if I'm taking the Dart or not, depends on what the weather for the weekend looks like on Friday. But I'm kind of wanting to make a few passes at the track...haven't raced it in over a year...and think she wants to stretch her legs a 1/4 mile at a time, haha.
If u see me there, say hello...

I'll be the young guy in shorts, maybe without a shirt (depending on how hot it gets) helping to park cars. Say hi if you see me.

Had a great time out there Friday and Sat. Didn't get a chance to talk to anybody but I did honk and wave at all the mopars. I was in the yellow Rumble Bee. Did anyone see the new challenger that was roaming around?!? NICE :bow1:
Oh yeah, and if you know anyone who drives a white truck with red on the bottom, or know who they are....let me know because it takes BIG men to jump someone at 5 in the morning when he is by himself walking home and beat him up. To all three of you, I hope you die. That was my gf's brother back here on leave from the Marines to enjoy himself for a few days before he has to go back to fight for our country. Makes me sick.

No, it was in kearney Sat night. (Sunday morning). He couldn't tell what kind of truck it was. One guy ran up to him, hit him in the head a few times so he then fought back with some wrestling moves from high school....kicked his ass and so the other two jumped in and took care of him pretty good. NO reason whatsoever.

Sounds like the show and cruise were awesome, but the undeserved asswhoopin` makes me sick.

His face is all black and blue and eyes swollen shut. He is more pissed than hurt. He's a tough little shit. probably could kick my ass pretty easily, but three against one isn't quite an even match.
At least he had a lot of fun. Before all that happened, we went golfing, got shitfaced. Sobered up with a nap, and then I let him drive the Bee and he had a blast and said that when he gets back, he wants to buy it. He doesn't know about cars much, so I kept having to correct him. Nice Nova! No, thats a Chevelle. Whatever. He is coming down Thursday night to Lincoln so hopefully he isn't so puffy and can go have some more GOOD times.
