View Full Version : Found out I got one of the last 300 Gen I's built.

I tried to find this stamp before to see but I was looking in the wrong spot where I thought it was so I assumed I wasn't lucky enough to get one. But then out of the blue I see this today with my hood up. 95 is the last year for the 1st gens and also side exhaust since they went to rear exit in 96 for the start of the Gen II run. So the last 300 Gen I's built they stamped with this "Last 300 Side Exhaust" stamp. Might add to the value a bit, who knows. But I think its pretty cool getting one of the last 300 Gen I's built.

You should find out what the last VIN built was to see how close it was to the end of production.

I remember seeing a viper stat site a while back that gave the start end end VINs(just the last 6 numbers) for each year. I'll see if I can find it.

found it. I got # 1402 out of 1577. So there were 175 made after mine and that was all she wrote for the 1st gen viper.
