WTB 89 Daytona Turbo hood

Looking for a hood for a 89 Shelby Daytona. Let me know if anyone has one.

A friend of mine may have one, though it would be about 30 miles NE of Council Bluffs. If you have a friend in the Omaha area to get it I'll let you know if I find one at the u-pull-it on Friday, they normall run about $30 for a hood in good shape. I don't have a way to get one home as I only have an Omni for my parts hauler.

The car is actually an 88, don't know if there's a difference. If you find one let me know. I can always go pick it up.

Nope, '87-'89 all interchange for sure. I don't know if '90-'91 is the same as they revised the radiator support slightly for the '91 model year.


Need anything else for an '88? :rolleye1: I've got a lot of interior parts I'd love to unload.

Thanks. I don't think I'll need anything else. The interior is in pretty good shape. Just have a bent up hood, and a few cosmetic issues. The car is an 88 Shelby Z, black, 5 speed, with T-tops.

Yeah, the hood on my '88 got smoked in the accident. The only other body piece I have left is one side of the spoiler, and I'm not even sure how good it is.

We have a completely fiberglass superstock daytona hood. $350 if you dont mind a rediculous looking scoop.

I hope to be hitting the junkyards on Sunday, I'll be sure to look for one. However, I'll have no way of actually transporting it anywhere should I find one. Do you have any friends in Omaha that could grab it for you?

Nothing out there. There was one '90 base model with a flat hood, but they picked it up and stuffed it in the crusher as soon as I passed it.

The yards are emptier than I've ever seen them right now.

Don't know how much you are willing to spend. I would part with my AAR hood for $450. Not another one like it.
