Grand Island Mopar Show

It started raining right after I left my house but didn't last long and it turned out to be a good car show. There were probably 40-50 cars that showed up. Lots of B-bodies and Jeeps. There were actually some other cars in my class this time. I thought the Dart Swinger would get the 1st place trophy, but someone I beat him out.

Wow! First place! Nice job Brandon. That was a pretty sweet Dart, but not as nice as your Duster. That blue '70 Cuda is pretty nice too.

The engine and engine bay on that Dart looked way better than mine. He had it clean and a lot less cluttered. I'd like to hide my wiring and touch up the orange paint. Maybe when I wire in my new gauges I'll work on that as well.

I think that blue Cuda got 2nd place. It was nice, but needed a few little things done to be really nice. The red Cuda which is a 73 318 car took 1st in the E-bodies. It had really nice paint and looked a little better than the blue one even with the weaker drivetrain. He is swapping a 440 into it though and was trying to sell the 318.

Met 71blueduster, and a member of the old Heartland Mopar site with a 69 Charger (forget his name, I have a terrible memory when it comes to names).

Actually both of those yellow 69 Chargers are HM members. The one with the Magnum 500s is current member "no318", and the other yellow one is "charger chip" from the old site. I talked to him at the Omaha show, he said he was planning on coming back.

Hi 71 Duster guy. I saw your car at the G.I. show and did vote your car as Best A Body....Really liked it. The Dart was nice too, but your cars interior and overall appearence just looked better to me. Sorry that I didn`t meet you, but sure sometime we will.
