I am good with the energy, it is the $$$ part that I have issues with. Stein is doing this one on someone else's money, that just makes more sense too. :lol1:

The frame is from AJE racing. The cars not going to be a show car by any means. Odie has got fiberglass fenders, doors, trunk lid and hood for it. Will probably get bumpers yet, so it will be mighty light. Wants to paint it flat black and put the gloss black strips on it.

Flat black is great for fiberglass body panels! I'd be happy to throw some on whenever Rich is ready if he likes.

Trust me, its a long way from needing paint, but great to know we can get your help.:D

Got a little more work done on the Demon this last weekend. Rear end welded in and bolted down. Just need to add the shocks and wheel cylinders. Thats the good part.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1572/6619544/19667643/393895594.jpg

Then got to the front and started to remove the k frame, then the bad! Found a lot of rust on the driver side frame and upper a frame mounts. Had to use a cutting wheel and cut off the a frame because of all the rust. Going to need a lot of fabricating to get this thing to work.

The rear end looks great! The frame looks terrible. Got any A body parts cars laying around you could steel parts from to fix that frame up?

Stein, did you get a blaster or is that Odie's? That is bigger than the one I have but mine just doesn't work that well. I have better luck with the gun on my portable one that holds about a gallon or two of sand. I always you were committed, remember how many times we laid the tranny on our chests from the Cuda!

Odie's blaster, worked really good but did a lot of waiting on the compressor.

I feel bad about my 60 degree work conditions in our shop now! Gonna have to find something else to hate about the place since I've never extreme sandblasted before! By the way, thanks for being there for my wife's 40th this last weekend. You both are always welcome and appreciated!

Odie and I did some more work on the Demon today. He bought this upper a frame rust repair part from autorust.com and I made a brace for the frame.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1572/6619544/19667643/394208482.jpg

Cut out all the rusty and bad stuff and checked it for fit.

http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1572/6619544/19667643/394208483.jpg

Looks like its going to fit really good so he is going to buy another one for the other side so hopefully it will all align when we are done.

Wow, that really looks good Stein. I sure admire you being out in sub 0 weather but working on old Mopars, one can find the warmth to do what needs to be done. Keep the pics rolling!!

Had to make room for the party tomorrow, so we loaded up the Demon and took it to Odies house. Its a roller again. Has a pretty mean rake to it!!!!

Got some more work done on the Demon lately. Finally finished up the engine compartment braces and mocked up a block and tranny to see if they will fit.

Got Odie's shake down engine back together and running again. Put the cam and torker intake out of the Charger in it, new oil pan, motor plate, and new gaskets all around. Sound a lot meaner with the lopy cam and straight headers.
