I've gone to this show the last two years. It's a nice show with 250-300 cars in a nice park with lot's of trees for shade. Anybody else up for it.

I don't know if I'm up to two shows in a row, but if this one has good shade and nice weather I might come here. Milford show is better for me distance wise, but if weather is mega-hot, this one might be a better deal for me.

I might go too, but first I will find out about an all Mopar show at the Marion, S.D. drag strip { Thunder Valley } I heard from a guy at the Spady show that they will be holding this event either Sat. The 16th or the following Sat. the 23rd, don`t know which yet, but will post it when i have more info.

I really wanted to go but 1) The Stanton County Fair is that weekend and my daughter has 4-H stuff so, family first, and 2) Wife just backed the F-150 into the neighbors van as he was backing out of his driveway, so that's $750 out of the bank for the deductible.:yell:

Congrats to Todd (Bryx512), Kevin (427HISS), and Bruce (Hemi killer)! They all took home trophies today from Malcolm. Very impressive considering the caliber and #s of cars. Great job guys.:Thumb:

Hemi- you got the biggest trophy I've ever seen !!!! :woohoo:
It was the "Left Early Pile Of @hit Award" ,........ Looked pretty cool, the tallest turd ever. lol !! :bs: JUST KIDDING !

I think it was from the Corvette I beat that was next to me. You should have heard what this asshole said about the judges afterwords. "Came all the way from frickin Grand Island, and didn't frickin win" !
I said, "then don't fucking come back ya fuckin baby". He didn't say anything.
If he had, I would have let my Cobra snake bite him in his ass !!!

I think all of us heard some people that were pissed off about the awards. What is the problem ,with these kind of people ? !!!!!!!!!
I'm so,oooo happy that not only us but, most car guys/girls, aren't that way. Last year at West Point, a man about my age (46 and yes,....over the hill, but a kid in heart) started bitching that he came in 2nd place. He was using every dirty word and screaming ! I walked up to him, pushed him in the chest and said, "if you can't enjoy a show with out getting a trophy, then don't come back" ! and the crowed clapped. I said, "I don't mind people cussing around adults but look around, there's children all over the place so, clean up your mouth".

I feel like a odd ball of the group guys, with a Ford but, I sure enjoy being with you. I've always thought that MOPAR, has the best selection of muscle cars on the planet. Maybe someday, my wife and I can have our favorite 70-71 Cuda, with a Hemi crate. Not a factory, but a clone. Maybe build a "Pro-Touring" Cuda. We'll see. Patty Say's, it has to be the Plum Crazy purple paint, automatic with overdrive, and a new A/C unit. Very cool !

Anyway, it's great that Todd and his dad (both great guy's) won trophy's ! Very worthy men and their cars. We need to get all of you to these shows. I think so highly of you guys that getting together with you and our cars at shows or where ever, is so fun, that the memories will last us a life time. :Thumb:

Sorry I don't have more pics. I have several pics of other cars when waiting for us to get our cars cleaned up, then accidentally I left the Camera on and the battery drained. My apologies. ! At the next show, I'll try to remember taping us with my camcorder.
(by the way, I felt shitty from no sleep and a killer headache so, I want to thank you guys for helping me clean all the sap off my Cobra. Otherwise, I would not,....have one received a trophy) !!!
