Speaking MOPAR only, who can tell me the breakdown from the 70's up in dodge trucks as to which had the option of lock outs and then 80's and up what was available for 4WD trucks. Also the explanation for full time 4WD, the good and the bad, and what years had those? PLEASE! :sillyme:

I don't know the year breaks on dodge, but a full time 4wd still has a transfer case with low/high range, but the hubs are always engaged. Here is my take on pros/cons. The advantage is that you don't have to wait until you are into something and then have to get out and engage the lock out hubs. The disadvantage is that you are always slinging all the 4wd components which can wear and cause loss of mpg.
