Well i thought id share my process with doing a Autometer gauges install on a non-ralley bezel. The project is pretty simple and straight foward. All you need is a dremel with a cutting wheel, a sanding disc and a spare non-ralley bezel(unless you dont care about the orginal one).

Here's my spare bezel i picked up off ebay you can get those pretty cheap the all black ones are dirt cheap but since my factory dash is woodgrain it was a little higher than those.

Next is the parts for the conversion

now the fun part start sanding and cutting if your using an older style gauges their mounting brackets will be different than these. These attaching peices totally wrap around the gauges holding them in place. The older gauges just use a peice of bent metal U and if your using those all that is required is just some sanding to fit the gauge in the hole.

i do a test fit after every cut just to make sure enough is removed

the speedo is pretty simple it just slides right in the opening you have to slightly bend the "U" retaining bracket on the back to clear the plastic

Now just install your gauges and make sure their in firm and your done!
this is a very simple project and it make a big difference well worth the money
(I'm still missing the fuel level gauge which was delayed on shipping i'll update this post after it comes in)

Those are looking great Pete! Nice big numbers, easy to read, and looks awesome with the white faces on the wood grain panel. The whole package will look good with the headliner.:D:D:D
