I'm pretty sure this car is possessed or it just doesn't like me. (03 Sebring sedan LXi with a 2.7) It's newest glitch is the cruise control will not work. I took it to the dealer and they told me it was the cruise control servo and wanted to charge me $240 to replace it. Well, I bought a new Mopar servo from another chrysler dealer for $80 and put it on, and it still doesn't work. The cruise light in the dash will come on briefly and then shut itself off. Any suggestions? When pulled the hose off the servo, there was good vacuum, so I think that is working properly. The line that "T's" off the servo, one goes back to the firewall and the other goes somewhere under the headlight? What's up front that it would be connecting to?

On a side note, this might or might not be related, we had to replace the clockspring on the car and pretty much since then the horn has not worked reliably. When the clock spring broke, the cruise quit working, horn quit working and airbag light came on.

I bet they are all related. Fix the steering column then report back

The brake switch was faulty, I have cruise control again! Haven't had it for a really long time.

Glad to hear you got it all figured out. That kind of thing can be really frustrating.

As of now it's running great, they gave it a tune up and it hasn't done it since, thankfully.

Still debating on whether to trade it off or not, I've heard the 2.7 isn't the best motor. We also have to replace the resonator on the silly thing. Not sure what the deal is with this car, we do all the preventive maintenance and silly things keep happening. We got rid of our 98 Avenger for this car because we had a kid, wish we would have kept that car. It ran flawlessly until we traded it off with 100k miles.
