Website Card ideas

Here are a few that I whipped up a while ago, but I guess they didn't make it to the board. LMK what you think. At a minimum they are a starting point. Colors & other things certainly can be added of course. If you have any ideas or suggestions please post up!!! I'm looking into getting some made in the next month or two.

I like the 2nd one too. Any way you could add some images of cars on there?

I like the first one. There should be pics of cars in the backround as long as it is not too busy.

are these going to be business card sized? There is a company in town that can do 2000 for I think 49.99 or something like that, I think it came out to about 2 cents per card

If these designs are for business cards, I know of an online resource that I've used before that will print full-color cards: 1000 for $18.00. The company is quick, and they do a good job too.

I work at a web site/graphic design firm and would be willing to help out with the card design and layout if anyone wants. I have an idea for a card design that would not only be personalized with the member's name and contact information, but with a picture of that person's car too.

Just last night, I proposed (to Kevin) an idea for a new graphic header for this web site. I thought it would be cool to design an animated header that would show "member rides" one at a time and rotate between them every 5 to 10 seconds or so. In my mind this new header would have a look-and-feel almost exactly like the business cards.

Just a couple ideas I had... If I'm overstepping my bounds, I apologize. Just let me know.

O.K. It won't hurt my feelings at all if you guys don't like these ideas... here they are.

Below is a concept sketch illustrating my idea for a new header graphic that could be put at the top of the site. I was thinking that I could build it in Flash so that it would be animated -- rotating from one member ride to the next every few seconds.

I'm not sure if any you would want to do this, but if so we'd probably have to take some new photos of everyone's car specifically for this purpose because we'd need all of them taken from a similar angle to fit aesthetically into the same spot on the screen -- but we could take the photos this spring during some show or get together.
